December 2016 Super aggregator Amazon announced plans to open distribution centres in capital cities around Australia  –  enabling the business to deliver goods to customers and allow customers to pick up the goods from Amazon fulfilment centres.

Amazon coming into region is a significant milestone and one that the ANZ is dramatically underestimating. 

Amazon made just under US$44 Billion in sales in 2016, and in the US, Amazon has one dollar for every two dollars spent online.
